Attendance and School Times

Every Day Counts!

When children are enrolled, it is expected they will attend school every day of each term. St Agatha’s records the daily attendance of students. Students can arrive at school no earlier than 8:30am when the gates open and there is a member of the teaching staff on ‘yard duty’.  Classrooms open at 8:50am for students to unpack school bags and get ready for the day. Learning begins at 9:00am each day. We ask for your co-operation by ensuring your children are at school on time.

School finishes at 3.30pm each day. Students are required to be collected by 3.45pm from one of the gates situated around the school. Supervision after school ends at 3:45pm. Students not collected by this time will wait at the admin office. We kindly ask that if you are running late that you call the school to inform the admin staff.

Students are expected to be at school all day, every day, unless they’re too sick to attend.  Every day counts in their learning. For extended leave of absence, for example, overseas holidays, please email a letter to inform the principal to absent@stacbourne.catholic.edu.au. The principal will provide an approval for extended leave.
